Where in the World?
Most of Egypt is North Africa but the Sinai province is in Asia.
Favourite part of the country?
My husband’s family lives in a rural village called El Attareen in between Cairo and Alexandria.
Favourite food?
Ballah al shams – fried dough fingers dipped in a thick syrup.
Favourite day of the trip?
Visiting the Pyramids at Giza and the Cairo Museum.
Traveller’s Tip?
Egyptians are very friendly and love meeting people from other countries.
Fun fact?
Archaeologists think the great pyramids of Giza are around 4,500 years old!
